"Dido and Aeneas" is an opera by the English composer Henry Purcell, first performed in 1689. It is based on an episode from Virgil's Aeneid and tells the tragic love story of Queen Dido of Carthage and the Trojan hero Aeneas.
In my work I wanted to capture the feeling of the baroque age. The gilded statures, water spectacles and the horn, representing the desire to express oneself. I wanted to recreate a baroque garden without the garden.
