Hello!
I am Meike Lütge-Kalberlah and this page describes my ongoing journey and navigation of life and art in a never ending manner.
I am a designer from Germany who grew up in a little village, where life seemed kind of set in it's ways.
After starting my BA in graphic design at Hochschule Hannover, i slowly realized how much i missed getting my hands dirty while working with them. I changed majors to scenography and costume design, tried almost every technique my school was offering and never looked back.
Don't get me wrong, i love typography, print and everything inbetween. I just wanted to use my urge to create differently.
Since my change in focus, i have worked in theatre and film and aim to continue doing so. I love making my ideas come to life, i love telling stories, creating worlds through a certain haptic. I have learned to trust myself, trust my work, my thoughts and my imagination. And one thing is for certain, i am never going to stop exploring the way i express myself.
